What kind of professional Cuba needs? One for whom is enough a note collide, a title, a job place, a hierarchical position, a car, some shopping items, an additional payment? The answer seems to be obvious, but the ideals have always been easier to enunciate them,  to leave them in the speech, in the horizon.
  
How many times will that same question have travelled offices, auditoriums, documents, five-year plans? That’s for sure that they can’t be calculated and still it stands there, persisting, as the first time that it was enunciated. It cannot be otherwise, because new conditions have been imposed to the initial arguments, to tinge them or to contextualise  them. And each moment brings different circumstances and hierarchies. The same as seasons,   answers are also mutants.

The professional  formation has been a constant concerning of the university, at least of the university that Mella sighted, inspired by  Cordoba Reform. A minority, possessing the  technical and scientific knowledge in a market contrast with a majority  lacking of them, it was not (neither it is) compatible with the Cuban socialist project. For that reason one day the whole country  was convert in a great University. To be a graduated at the  collage  became  a norm, as a demand of the own specialization and complexity of the modern societies and never more will be a privilege.

But, it is not so simple. Now, when the registrations have grown considerably and the profiles suggest untraditional labour scenarios, the ideal takes  the quality and the massivity as faces  of  one currency. It is not the point to choose among one or other,  but making them compatibles, for not taking a chance of  future.

If we arrive until here it has been possible for the alliance among the knowledge, the talent, the creativity, the resistance and the solidary consecration of thousands of Cubans,   women and men,  -anonymous or not - that have sustained, as pillars the determined word, the coherence between thought and action.

The necessary reinforcement, that egress this July from universitaries headquarters and centres of the whole country,  will also have to be spine, not for stopping the bolster a predictable collapse, but for building on the old foundations, and then, to take on their backs, other constructions, those that finally reach the horizon.  Meanwhile,  lets continue looking for the  professional we want. 

The contradiction between quality and massivity, understanding each other for this reason as  the best  answer to the growing increment of registration and the amplification of the spectrum of careers to develop,  which will demand, a combined work of all the educational communities and of their directive, for:
